Gordon Mackintosh is a visual artist and designer based in the Treaty 1 Territory of Winnipeg, Manitoba that practices under the name "Mackintosh Design". As a "student of experience", Gordon is constantly evolving as an artist, using the natural world to shape his art. Gordon's work focuses on familiar landscapes, the nuances of human expression, and the idea that you can convey emotion, sense of place, and atmosphere with just a few brush strokes - letting negative space tell just as much of a story as the space that is filled. Gordon wants his work to be seen as social art that is both accessible and intriguing. 

Gordon is a member of Aceartinc., The Winnipeg Arts Council, CARFAC, and SOCAN.
